Gunshot Money: The Product

The course comes in 8 main sections with nearly 4 hours of video! Now 4 hours is a looong time so I was really hoping that this wasn’t going to be a waste of my time. I hate nothing more than spending hours at my computer without actually getting anywhere!

Here goes…

Video 1 (22 mins)
The first part to the course covers the basics and Mark shows you exactly how to find everything you need – not that he really needed to, it’s pretty self explanatory! Having got the intro out of the way Mark moves on to the course layout and shows you exactly what you are going to learn as you progress through the course.

For the remainder of the first video Mark talks you through the products you want to promote; where to find them and more importantly which are the best to promote. This is vital for beginners as if you choose the wrong product and it’s no good you will find that the refund rate is so high that you are left with barely any commission left, making the whole process pointless.

You can even watch Mark find a product right in front of your eyes so you have a good feel for exactly where to go and what to look for. Finally you will discover the best themes to use for your blogs and how to set the up so the structure is search engine friendly.

Video 2 (50 mins)
In this video Mark goes in to detail about how you want to set your site up. This is one of the most important parts of any successful promotion as you will give yourself the best chance of success if you get this right.

Without giving too much away, you will learn how to set up your homepage so it not only looks good to the visitor but also the search engines. This section includes changing your header and background, the best link structure, adding posts, content layout and using the best permalink format.

Video 3 (26 mins)
As you are building sites that have multiple pages you are increasing your chance of visitors hitting you site through any of the pages you add. The only problem with this is that you will normally want them to be on the homepage and not the supporting pages, as this is where you are going to get the sale.

In this video Marks shows you exactly how to funnel your visitors to your sales page so to give you the best chance of making a sale. He does this by using some really cool WordPress plugins – this is a good video, I have never thought about doing this but will be testing it on my sites for sure.

Video 4 (50 mins)
This is one of the most important videos on the course as this is where Mark shows you how to get traffic. It is obvious to say that without traffic you have no sales. My opinion is that this is what you should spend you time on and not on making your site look pretty. The best looking site in the world will not make sales without traffic, yet a site that doesn’t look exacltt how you want it will make sales if it has traffic…no brainer right?

The first part is about getting your site indexed quickly but Mark then goes on to talk about drive both paid for and free traffic to your site. But here is the important bit, it’s not about huge amounts of traffic, it’s about huge amount of targeted traffic. Mark shares some tools and systems that I use myself so I already know that these methods work well.

Video 5 (21 mins)
As any top marketer will tell you, one of the best way to convert traffic when they hit your homepage is to offer them a bonus as an incentive. Many beginners struggle to find the right bonuses to offer their customers – I know I did when I was starting out. Here Mark takes you through the 5 main steps that you need to take when packaging a bonus.

The first part is to identify what the best bonus offer is depending on the product you are trying to sell. Mark then gives you ten ideas for bonuses, to show exactly what you should be looking for.  The third step is to find your bonus material and Mark shows you where he gets the majority of his material. The fourth and fifth parts to this section show you how to display and delivery your bonus.

Video 6 (10 mins)
When I first started working online the thing that annoyed me above anything else was my inability to build an email list. Everyday I was hearing people say to me ‘it’s all about the list’ and ‘the power of the list’. I didn’t believe I was ever going to be able to build a list that would be big enough to enable me to sell to it time and time again and I certainly didn’t have a top marketer on hand to teach me, which is exactly what Mark does in this video.

I don’t think I need to say too much about this, we all know how nice it is to have a big list in any niche. All you need to know is that Mark shows you exactly how he built his list in the IM niche. This is information that the gurus don’t normally like to share and in fact I have even picked up a tip for myself!

Video 7 (17 mins)
This is Marks 7 day formula to make cash online. Mark would not be too happy if I gave away too much information on this. All you need to know is that Mark shows you his method of promoting a product launch from beginning to end. This really brings everything that Mark has taught so far together starting with domain purchasing and ending with cash in the bank. It is set out so that you can follow the steps that should be carried out each day from day 1 to day 7.

Module 8 (32 mins)
The final module in the course is all about Adwords and how you can make money by driving traffic to your site using Adwords. There are 3 videos that can be followed if you are interested in learning more about PPC. My personal view is that beginners should ignore this part of the course until you are making money.

My first rule with internet marketing is to spend as little as you can until you are making enough to reinvest. You cannot avoid spending money on domain names and hosting but I strongly advise you to concentrate on the free traffic methods Mark teaches before you try your own PPC campaign.

Gunshot Money: The Conclusion

Overall, Gunshot Money is a solid product. Everyone but the most advanced internet marketer has something that they can learn from Mark’s course. If you are a beginner then you are taken through every step of the way so you can be sure that you are not left feeling like you are on your own.

For the more advanced IMer there is a certain amoutn of fluff that you need to wade through to get to the juicy bits of information, but if you know how to suck out the right bits of knowledge then you could make a killing.

Well actually it’s more like 3 or 4! Don’t get me wrong here as I enjoyed watching Mark’s videos, but while he showed you how to do everything, you will still need to go and find the products and write articles and search out the submission tools etc in order to make this work for you.

Doing all that can take up more of your time than just working through the contents of Gunshot Money, when all you want to do is get started while it is all fresh in your mind and you are highly motivated to make it work.
