Social Networking Website Traffic

Probably one of the most apparent and obvious ways of profiting from Web 2.0 are social networking sites. Why? They have BOATLOADS of traffic coming to their website every day. Their user bases are known to grow at rates of ten thousands of users and more a day. Any marketer knows the key to making good money online is to have fresh prospects. First I will go over how to specifically use MySpace and Facebook to send a good amount of qualified traffic to your website.

Using MySpace to market to the public is not as easy as it is to market to Facebooks users. The reason being is that currently MySpace does not offer a program for marketers to advertise to its users. Instead, MySpace makes money through acting much like a TV Station. Every time you go to MySpace, you can see the newest movie become what I call the “wall paper” for MySpace. In addition, MySpace displays many “dating sites” advertisements and Google advertisements.
