He is a highly successful marketer and has generated huge wealth online, which means he knows what he is talking about. However, this doesn’t mean to say that he is going to share all of his secrets with the world, why would he?
To find out whether or not Traffic Voodoo can help you build your online marketing business then this review is for you. To determine whether this traffic getting course is right for you we’ll look at both Jeff Johnson and the product itself.
Who Is Jeff Johnson?
Learning about Jeff Johnson will help you understand whether or not this guy knows what he is talking about. What is his background and what is the philosophy behind his online marketing techniques?
He is best known for his ability to get lots of free traffic and developed a popular traffic getting WordPress plugin, that works to optimize WordPress sites, to give them a better chance of ranking well in search engines such as Google.
He offers his plugin for free because he is keen to give something back to the industry that has not only helped him become extremely successful but also given him the lifestyle that he always dreamed of.
He uses his skills as an affiliate marketer and is often seen at the top of the leader board for product launches, highlighting how good his techniques can be.

Traffic Voodoo: The Course
The Traffic Voodoo course has been designed for the serious online marketers who want to build a good online business. Although not essential it would certainly help if you have some knowledge as well as a few required technical skills such as:
1. Domain registration
2. Setting up a WordPress site
3. Installing WordPress plugings
4. Using WordPress
If you are not currently comfortable with WordPress then don’t worry. I use WordPress everyday and it is extremely easy to pick up with a little bit of guidance, so this shouldn’t put you off Traffic Voodoo.
The course is very much in line with Jeff’s own online marketing strategy, which is all about driving free traffic. He does this by getting his sites ranked well for all the major keywords that he targets.
Everything that Jeff teaches is done in ‘look over the shoulder’ type training, so you get to see exactly what he does every step of the way. He will also be scheduling live training webinars so students will also have the chance to put any questions they may have across to the man himself.
Traffic Voodoo runs over an 8 week period, below you can see how Jeff has planned to take his students through each of the modules in the course:
Getting traffic is what Jeff does best and in this module he shares the very same techniques that he uses every day. He shows you the best kind of websites to build, how and where to use opt in pages and squeeze pages and most importantly of all how to get lots of targeted traffic.
The majority of this module is pretty basic as you would expect for the first module, but this stuff is seriously important. It is what 99% of all online marketers do so it is important stuff. There are also a few additional bits that are unique to Jeff and I certainly found them very interesting.
Week 3: Converting Traffic
Once you have traffic pouring on to your site you need to be sure that your site can convert the traffic in to sales. In this module Jeff not only shows you how to convert your visitors but also how to set up tracking which gives you an insight in to visitor behaviour.
The good thing about this module is that Jeff shows you real examples, using his actual sites, so you get a good insight in to his business. The part that I found most interesting was Jeff’s methods for testing various opt in templates. I will be trying this out with some of my own sites.
Week 4: Social Media
By now you will all have heard about the power of social media. It is definitely one of the most popular methods of driving free traffic, but if you don’t know how to maximise it’s potential you can waste a lot of time for very little return.
Jeff mainly focuses on YouTube and Facebook, which is understandable, but I was hoping for an in depth look at Twitter as I know for a fact that there is good money to be made on Twitter.
Week 5: Instant Traffic Money Machine
This method actually looks at alternative methods for driving traffic, such as: PPC, PPV and CPA. This traffic is not free but Jeff does show his students how to get cheap traffic that is highly targeted.
This module is probably not something that beginners should look to action until they are making money using Jeff’s free traffic methods. Even if he can get traffic for as little as 2 cents a click, I strongly advise that you only consider this when you are making money.
Week 6: Instant Affiliate Traffic
Affiliate marketing is one of the most popular ways to make money in internet marketing. Here Jeff shows you exactly why that is and how you can use affiliates to generate even more traffic. He will also show you how he makes money by helping other marketers sell their products.
Given that Jeff has made the majority of his money in affiliate marketing it is no surprise that this section is probably the best in the entire course.
Week 7: List Building
The power of the list! Ever heard people say this before? Well owning a list can be an extremely profitable source of income. In this section Jeff shares his methods for capturing email addresses and how best to talk to your list.
Having a relationship with your list is extremely important and Jeff probably proves that more than most. I don’t believe that Jeff has a list that is anywhere near the size of someone like Frank Kern, but he often beats him on JV leader boards and that is down to the relationship he has with his subscribers.
Week 8: Coaching Calls
Jeff will revist all the methods that he has taught in group coaching calls. These sessions are always interactive and students will have the chance to ask Jeff any questions they may have about online marketing, whether covered in this course or not.
Traffic Voodoo: My Conclusion
Having followed Jeff for a number of years I know exactly how successful he has been. Before looking at the course I was never in any doubt about Jeff’s ability to make money online, the only question mark was whether or not he would be able to show others how to use his methods.
Teaching other people is not as simple as you might think. I have purchased courses by some of the most well respected marketers out there and in some cases I gave up before I even got half way through the course because it was so unorganised and not at all easy to follow.
Having gone through each module in Traffic Voodoo I believe that it is a solid course that can teach pretty much anyone how to make money online. Everyone but the most advanced and experience internet marketer will take something from what Jeff teaches.

When I say a few I probably mean three or four!
I have already highlighted the fact that you need to have some experience with WordPress in order to hit the ground running with Traffic Voodoo. Many beginners have never seen WordPress let alone used it, so it’s a shame that Jeff didn’t include something for these people as well.
In addition to that Jeff did not go in to enough detail about Twitter. I felt this was a little disappointing as I know from personal experience how much traffic you can capture from Twitter.
